Thermo Oil

Thermo Oil for thermally modified wood

Restol Thermo Oil is a pigmented oil which has been specially developed for thermally modified wood. The oil gives the surface a natural finish.

The oil is not film-forming, adds a higher level of resistance to UV, is easy to maintain, is lead-free and helps prevent the wood from splintering.

Restol Thermo Oil is available in 0.75L cans.

Apply in three steps:

  1. To get the best result, lightly sand the surface first. Make sure that the surface is dust-free and dry before you apply the oil.
  2. Use a brush, cloth or roller to apply Restol Thermo Oil along the length of the wood or by dabbing it on.
  3. Apply 1 or 2 coats and remove excess oil with a cloth or brush. Wait at least 24 hours between coats.
